| Information: | 22.00 KONZERT Los Hermanos McKenzie Argentinien (Electro Punk) Two siblings: the sister, singer and actress; the brother, guitarist and saxophonist. At the end of 2008 Cecilia and Nacho Czornogas brought to life their first songs under the moniker of Los Hermanos McKenzie. Soon afterwards 3 others joined in the fun: Marina Pérez on trumpet and keys, Daniel Digon on drums and Eric Brown on guitar and banjo. 2009 saw the release of their first EP which reflected their own unique brand of indie folk replete with horns and Cecilia´s lush vocals. In 2011, after 2 years of hard work and plenty of live performances, Los Hermanos McKenzie released their first LP. Siamés weaves together simplicity and complexity, gentleness and psychedelics. The album travels through scenes of electric pop lightly spiced with experimentation before arriving to more acoustic pastures, intimate and melancholic. 2012 had the band playing more important shows in Buenos Aires and increasing their fan base. This led to their most recent work; Rarezas y lados B in which they explore a wider sonic pallet and even cover David Bowie. As if playing out and recording didn`t quite quench the artistic thirst of Los Hermanos Mckenzie, they will act in and perform original music in the play Attempts on Her Life, by Martin Crimp directed by Cristian Drut in July of 2013. Now band is on its first European tour beginning in September and exploring a more electro-punk sound for their second album planned for release in 2014. Eintritt 5 Euro |
